Project Description:

In order to provide the customers with a safe and stable supply of high- quality , low-cost energy into the future, in addition to helping to protect the global environment, Chubu Electric is proceeding with the planned development of facilities, promoting the use of nuclear power and introducing high-efficiency thermal power stations.

Toshiba Group, as the main contractor of the Nishi-Nagoya thermal power station project, has developed a thermal power generation system with the world's highest level of efficiency (≥62%)(lower heating value basis).

The Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) of the Nishi-Nagoya #7 Thermal Power Station Project shall include casing, heat transfer surface, drums, ducts, damper, expansion joints, stack, trim and piping, insulation and lagging, blowdown tank, and all required equipment for a complete installation and service. USSL’s scope of supply includes Casing, Inlet Ducts, SCR Ducts, Outlet Transition Ducts, Outlet Extension Ducts, Outlet Extension Duct Support Towers and Field Seam Components for six HRSG's.
