Project Description:

Sasol announced its final investment decision for a new ethane cracking and derivatives complex in October 2014.The ethylene production capacity of the project is 1.5 million tons/year, with supporting construction of 450,000 tons/year LDPE unit, 450,000 tons/year LLDPE unit, 300,000 tons/year ethylene oxide/glycol unit, and 300,000 tons/year detergent alcohol and ethoxyl compound.
